It may be possible to find cheaper accommodation in New York, but in our experience of the city, it's not possible to find better. The Elite CityStays apartment at 200 east 72nd street was immaculately clean and beautifully prepared. Then there's the fantastic building and the even better location! The real test of the company, for us at least, came when we were caught in the boxing day blizzard that paralysed the city. Not only was the company able to accommodate a changing arrival time, but they quickly refunded the portion of the stay we were unable to use. We were really, really impressed.

We stayed at 11 Waverly Place in May 2010 for our honeymoon, and I just wanted to say thanks for everything - the room was great, the location was absolutely perfect and we had a great time. It was hard to separate the scams from the truth on the internet and we were grateful to you for speaking to us (and providing an Australian contact number) and emailing us to help us with any questions we had. The starter toiletries and provision of a hairdryer and iron was greatly appreciated, the wireless internet was very handy, the pay TV good fun (so many channels over there!) and we found the room to be clean and tidy and perfect for our needs.

The apartment was clean (our main concern), well equipped and we felt safe. "I have just returned from 2 weeks in New York staying in the 1 bedroom apartment on East 38th St. The apartment was clean, comfortable and safe. The fittings, furniture and bedding were very stylish and good quality. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and the sofa bed in the lounge room was excellent. We had to contact management for a few things and they were superb with their prompt reply and service. The apartment is a 2 minute walk to the subway and all public transport. You can walk to Times Square in 10 minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend or return to this apartment again."

"Excellent accommodation. All the basic items were in the apartment. Very good closet space. The building has a lovely gym on the 35th floor. Location is extremely central; supermarket across the street, restaurants and bars around the block. Would like to mention if you could improve on two things. I only found the mattress of the sofa bed uncomfortable. And in the bedrooms, if you could put darker blinds or curtains as it gets very bright early morning. Overall I would highly recommend the apartment."
